House Tour

Our Home

This is a new section that I’m working on adding, so please bear with me as I update it in the coming weeks!

Our home was built in 1947 and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It’s on a great size corner lot, and is set quite far back from the road which is nice, since we live on a bit of a busy street in a suburb just outside of Toronto, Ontario. It’s got a lovely backyard that’s completely fenced in which is great for the kids and the dogs, and it has a separate single car garage which is mainly home to all my amazing furniture finds! Thankfully the driveway holds up to eight cars, since there’s no street parking out front.

Front Hall

When you enter the house there are stairs ahead to the right as well as a small coat closet. To the left is our living/family room. Straight ahead is the kitchen which leads out to a three season mudroom at the back of the house. The living room and kitchen both lead into the dining room which is at the back left corner of the main floor.

Attic

Our house also has an amazing attic, which was one of the reasons we bought it! We had big dreams of renovating it extensively and turning it into the master suite, but so far it hasn’t happened.. lol. At this point I’m not sure if we will do it or not, and if we do it will simply be for the return on investment and appeal to future buyers. It’s a SUPER space that we currently use for storage…

NEW HOUSE 026

It has tons of potential, (it spans the entire length of the house!) but would be pretty costly…
especially relocating the stairs since they are just a hole in the floor with a “trap door” with steps that lead down into Callum & Ella’s room:

That’s all for now! Hope you’ve enjoyed the tour, and I will be sure to update it as often as possible.
